Cancellation Policy

  • To cancel your Young Monk Hostel booking, please reach out to us via email at info@youngmonkhostel.com or contact our support team through WhatsApp/call at +918091252724. When requesting a cancellation, kindly include your booking details and reason for cancellation in your communication. Please note that there is no direct cancellation option available on our website, and we request guests to use only the specified communication channels for all cancellation requests.

  • For guests who have booked through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) like Booking.com, Hostelworld, Goibibo, or MakeMyTrip, please contact your respective booking platform directly to process your cancellation. While Young Monk Hostel cannot handle these cancellation requests, we appreciate if you could inform us about your cancellation by calling or messaging us at +918091252724 to help us manage our inventory better.

  • Your eligible refund will be processed within 7 working days from the date of cancellation. The refunded amount, minus applicable convenience fees and payment gateway charges, will be automatically credited to the same bank account, card, or digital wallet that was used for the initial booking. We do not process refunds to alternative payment methods under any circumstances.

  • For all bookings at Young Monk Hostel, cancellations or modifications are accepted up to 3 days before your check-in date, with a convenience fee deduction of 2% for Indian nationals and 4% for international guests. All payment gateway charges are non-refundable, and no changes or refunds will be processed within the 3-day window before check-in.

  • Any changes in the check-in as well as the check-out dates is not permissible. Guests are advised to cancel their bookings and make a fresh booking in order to change their dates.

  • There will be no refunds or discounts for early check-out or departure; the full amount for the entire stay will be forfeited. In the event of a no-show on the arrival date, you will not be eligible for any refund.

  • During peak seasons or festival periods, a 100% non refundable and advance payment is mandatory for confirmation. 

  • Transfer of bookings from 1 hostel to another is not permissible. Guests are advised to cancel their bookings and make a fresh booking in order to change the hostel location.

  • We only accept online bookings with 100% advance payment. However, in the case of manual bookings made by the management, the above cancellation policy, including all terms and conditions, will apply to those bookings as well.

  • For group bookings (defined as 7 or more people), cancellations or amendments are accepted up to 7 days before your check-in date. A convenience fee of 2% for Indian nationals and 4% for international guests will be deducted from the refundable amount. Please note that all payment gateway charges are non-refundable in this case if applicable. No changes or refunds will be processed within the 7-day window before check-in.
